Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Jannal collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our web app, our mobile apps (Owner and Guest), and this website. By using Jannal you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
Jannal is hotel & property management software operated by AAROORA Technologies ("AAROORA", "we", "us"). For privacy questions, contact hello@aaroora.com.
Information we collect
Account data you provide: your name, email, phone number, property details and login credentials.
Operational data you enter: reservations, room and rate configuration, folios, payments recorded, housekeeping status and guest service requests.
Guest data your property captures through the guest app (e.g. name, stay dates, requests). Your property is the controller of this data; Jannal processes it on your behalf.
Technical data: device type, app version, IP address, and basic usage analytics to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use it
To provide and operate the service, sync availability and channels, process the actions you take, send transactional messages (e.g. booking and arrival notifications), provide support, and improve reliability and security. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Razorpay/Stripe). Jannal does not store full card numbers; we retain only a token and the outcome needed to reconcile the folio.
Sharing
We share data only with: service providers who help us run Jannal (hosting, payments, messaging) under contract; channel/OTA partners you connect; and authorities where required by law. White-label partners access only the data of properties under their own group.
Data retention
We keep account and operational data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see "Delete your account").
Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. Email hello@aaroora.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Jannal is a business tool and is not directed at children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
