Last updated 18 June 2026 · This is a template — have it reviewed by your legal advisor before launch.
You can delete your Jannal account and associated data at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we must keep for legal reasons. This applies to both the web app and the mobile apps.
How to delete your account
- 1
Open Account settings
In the Owner app go to More → Account. On the web app, Settings → Account.
- 2
Tap "Delete account"
Confirm your password. You’ll see exactly what will be removed and what we must keep.
- 3
Confirm the request
We action deletion within 7 days. Or email hello@aaroora.com from your registered address and we’ll do it for you.
Deletion is permanent. Export anything you need first — once complete, your data cannot be recovered.
What gets deleted
Your profile and login, your property configuration, and personal data we hold for your account. Guest personal data captured for your property is deleted or irreversibly anonymised, except records we must retain by law (e.g. tax/accounting invoices).
What we must keep
Financial records (invoices, payment outcomes) are retained for the period required by Indian tax law, then deleted. These are kept in a restricted, access-controlled form and are not used for any other purpose.
Timeline
Deletion requests are actioned within 7 days. A short grace period lets you cancel the request by emailing us. Once complete, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting from the mobile app
Open the Owner app → More → Account → Delete account, and confirm. You can also email hello@aaroora.com from your registered address and we will process it for you.
